The Rotherham speedway team raced at the Greyhound Stadium at Hellaby, holding their first meeting on 18th May 1929. The Dirt Track linked with the greyhound circuit was called Bramley.

  The team operated as an Open team throughout the 1929-30 season, but the final meeting took place on 9th June 1930.

  As was customary at speedway venues, Greyhound racing also took place. The first recorded Greyhound meeting was on 7th April 1928.
